With alumni as diverse as Dame Myra Hess and Sir Elton John, the Academy has an enviable track record in all keyboard disciplines - and it takes classical organ extremely seriously.

The Academy needed a new instrument for its practice room and was faced with the challenge of finding an organ which would have an immense impact on the futures of some of the world's most gifted young musicians.

Having reviewed the world's leading manufacturers, the Academy finally decided that a Rodgers instrument would best equip its scholars for the varied challenges of the greatest pipe organs.

The Academy chose a Rodgers Trillium 967.
